Q: How long does it usually take to clean my air ducts?

Q: Do you run brushes through the main trunkline?

A: We brush out the main trunkline & also brush through each individual vent. We can only go down a couple of feet. If vents are painted shut, we cannot brush or remove the vents. (damage can occur from removing painted vents; if customer requests, we can remove them).

Q: My house is on a slab, and my furnace is in a crawl space?

A: That is not a problem. Instead of making an 8" access hole in the main trunkline, we will access your ducts through the nearest cold air return.

Q: My air ducts are flex or flexie ducts?

A: We are not able to do these, because we are not able to run the nylon bristle brushes down these because it could damage the duct work.

Q: Can we do octopus and insulated ducts?

A: No we cannot. You can not clean these ducts out properly without damaging them.

Q: How often do my air ducts need to be cleaned?

A: It is recommended every 2 to 4 years.

Q: Do you use a sanitizer?

A: We can use a sanitizer if you would like. It is not included in our price. The normal price is $69.00 the technician will discuss this with you, if you would like to have this done.

Benefits of sanitizer? It kills all mold, dust mites, etc. And anything growing in your ductwork. The main ingredient in sanitizer is sentinal (the same sanitizer that is used in hospitals). Sanitizer will last approximately 6 months..

Q: Do you clean the furnace also?

A: We can clean the furnace if you like. It is not included in our price. The normal price of the furnace cleaning is $49.00.
